The story of An Ordinary Horse is told through two perspectives. That of brave men on an epic quest, and that of a herd of horses on the Great Plains of America, but mostly through the eyes of one horse in particular, an ordinary horse by most accounts.
AN ORDINARY HORSE is available through Barnes & Noble as an e-Book as well as paperback.
The story moves quickly through the pages, and though it's enjoyable in either format,
the Deluxe, Watermark Illustrated version seems best suited for pre-teen readers.
The subliminal art seems to draw the reader into the text, submerging them in the experience.
THE SILVER FLEET
THE SILVER FLEET is a prequel to AN ORDINARY HORSE. The third book in the series, the story tells more details of John Bounty and his crew. It explains the background and childhood of Carter Jennings and of how he, Bobby McBeal, Jimmy Porter, Mick O'Nally and Ross Coleson had become such a tight knit group.
The men and their captain take on an armada full of the most murderous band of pirates to ever sail those waters. Together they find out what true courage is, and what is important enough in their lives to risk everything.

If you've been wondering what happened with the horses that were left on the plains, this is the book for you. THE SIDESHOW is the sequel to AN ORDINARY HORSE and will be available as soon as it is completed. Explaining the storyline would involve too many spoilers to the original, but know that it is filled with the same endearing style. We'd love your feedback on AOH and its illustrations. The story of THE SIDESHOW is written, but the book isn't yet complete. It would be an opportunity for everyone to help define the final details of the novel.
